Job Summary

The Business Analyst / Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful execution of technology and business initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for coordinating projects, gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing operational data, and developing reports and dashboards that support informed decision-making. Working closely with the Project Manager, Director of Business Technology Services (BTS), and cross-functional teams, this role helps ensure projects remain on track while identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in coordinating, documenting, and tracking active IT and business technology projects.
  • Independently manage assigned projects from initiation through completion, coordinating activities with internal departments and external vendors.
  • Monitor project progress, identify delays or roadblocks, and proactively recommend solutions to keep projects moving forward.
  • Develop reports and interactive Power BI dashboards using SQL queries to support operational, financial, and project performance analysis.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from clinical and administrative stakeholders, translating them into clear functional requirements for technical teams.
  • Participate in project review meetings with the Project Manager and Director of Business Technology Services (BTS) to assess project status, identify risks, and establish next steps.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, action items, decisions, and lessons learned.
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis to support leadership with operational insights and strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives align with business goals and organizational priorities.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational performance.
  • Communicate project updates and status to stakeholders while ensuring timely follow-up on assigned action items.
  • Support the implementation and adoption of new technology solutions across the organization.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, Data Analyst, IT Project Support, or in a related role.
  • Candidates with relevant technical bootcamps and demonstrable project experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects and working with business stakeholders is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies

  • Proficiency in SQL, including JOINs, aggregations, subqueries, and Common Table Expressions (CTEs).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, complex formulas, and analysis of large datasets.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, including basic DAX and data modeling.
  • Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is preferred.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, Jira, or Trello is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, Forms, and Power Automate is a plus.
  • Native or fluent Spanish is required.
  • Intermediate English proficiency for technical documentation, vendor communications, and occasional meetings.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when analyzing data and maintaining project documentation.
  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision while collaborating effectively across departments.
  • Genuine interest in understanding business operations and continuously improving organizational processes.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Frequent use of computers, multiple monitors, and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and participate in meetings for extended periods.
  • Fast-paced office environment with frequent collaboration across clinical, administrative, and technical departments.
  • Occasional travel between organizational locations for meetings, project implementations, or training may be required.
  • Occasional lifting of light office equipment or supplies may be required.
