What is the opportunity?

The Manager, Reporting and Analytics, will work closely with traders, data analysts, and teams across Corporate Treasury (CT). This role is key to providing analytics, maintaining data systems, and developing reports that support:

  • Interest rate risk strategy and hedging for RBC's banking books

  • Structural FX and equity-linked hedging portfolios

  • HQLA Book (HTC, HTC&S, Trading books)

What will you do?

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of financial products and derivatives, solid analytical skills, and technical proficiency. You'll translate business needs into actionable insights that inform trading decisions and contribute to Corporate Treasury's interest rate risk and portfolio management strategies.

  • Integrate trading systems, databases, and financial data to deliver consistent, timely analytics and reporting for the Corporate Treasury Markets team

  • Provide on-demand analytics using big data, valuation models, and tools to enhance trading practices

  • Drive process improvements through automation and advanced technology

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Finance, or related field - or CFA designation

  • Knowledge of fixed income and derivatives

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Tableau and HiveDB

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Clear and effective communication skills

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with PySpark, Power BI

  • Experience in Product Control or Hedge Accounting within a bank
