In this position... 

The Yield Management (YM) team supports all Ford Blue and Model e product lines and tackles the ~5 highest priority strategic and profit projects each quarter.  The team works in "Value Sprints" with a dedicated team focused against a specific mandate for a dedicated period of time. The team applies problem-solving framework and leverages advanced analytics to derive insights and deliver tangible recommendations to create value for Ford.

You'll have... 

  • Bachelors degree in business, data analytics, strategy, or related field

  • 5+ years' experience in project management, including client-interfacing 

  • Highly capable working in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Even better, you may have...

  • MBA or MS degree in an appropriate field of study

  • Experience with Alteryx, SQL, Qlik, and Google Cloud Platform 

  • Knowledge of Marketing & Sales, including exposure to some combination of go to market strategy, brand marketing, field ops, sales, variable marketing, pricing, allocation, production, or supply chain

  • Executive communication experience (verbal & written)

  • Comfort with ambiguity - demonstrated ability to structure an approach to complex problems and drive clarity on solutions

  • Ability to lead cross functional teams

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$190,000.     

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

The Yield Management's project portfolio aims to deliver a balance of:

This Yield Management position operates cross-functionally across Marketing & Sales, Brand, Product Marketing, General Management, GDI&A, Finance, & Ford Credit.  Managers come from a range of different backgrounds and work on specific "sprints" typically for 6-8 weeks.

This role is at the intersection of strategy, operations, and analytics, and is tasked with creating change and maximizing profits in the Ford+ plan. The immediate working team is highly collaborative and fast-paced. This is a high-exposure role with ongoing interaction with leadership across Ford Blue, Model e, and Ford Pro.

The YM managers work as sprint participants and sprint leaders. All sprint team members are responsible for:

  • Applying structured problem-solving mindset to sprints

  • Accessing and analyzing data to develop solutions, including leveraging advanced analytics tools and building adhoc data models

  • Considering enterprise-wide impact and sensitivity of sprint recommendations

  • Communicating analysis insights and implications of sprint recommendations

Additionally managers are responsible for:

  • Guiding and assisting work of sprint analysts, ensuring all work relates back to the problem statement

  • Leading the development of the sprint narrative and succinct senior level presentation materials

When leading sprints managers responsible for:

  • Establishing the sprint mandate and problem statement with key stakeholders

  • Structuring the workstreams for the team

  • Leading analysis and developing insights and implications of decisions

  • Delivering clear and actionable recommendations
