Job description

Senior Manager, Communications & PR Summary/Objective

isolved is seeking a strategic, creative and highly collaborative Senior Manager, Communications & PR to lead our Public Relations (PR) and Analyst Relations (AR) programs. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Communications, this role will help shape and amplify isolved's brand narrative across media, industry analysts, customers, partners and owned content channels.

This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who thrives in fast-growing technology environments and is energized by finding compelling ways to tell stories that drive awareness, credibility and business impact. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and executor - someone who can think beyond tactical execution to develop integrated communications strategies that support company growth and market leadership.

Core Job Duties
  • Develop and execute strategic PR programs that elevate isolved's brand awareness, thought leadership, and market positioning.
  • Identify and drive proactive storytelling opportunities around company news, product innovation, customers, partners and industry trends.
  • Partner cross-functionally with executives, marketing, product marketing, customer advocacy and partner teams to develop compelling narratives and media opportunities.
  • Manage media strategy and outreach efforts in partnership with isolved's external PR agency.
  • Support media engagement opportunities including interview preparation, speaking opportunities, award submissions, and press materials.
  • Leverage existing media relationships where applicable while helping expand isolved's visibility and credibility within key industry conversations.
  • Track, analyze, and report on PR program performance and share insights and recommendations with leadership.
Analyst Relations Leadership
  • Lead isolved's analyst relations strategy and engagement program.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry analysts and firms covering HCM, HR technology, payroll, workforce management, and adjacent markets.
  • Coordinate analyst briefings, inquiries, and strategic engagements to strengthen isolved's market presence and positioning.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop differentiated messaging and materials for analyst audiences.
  • Monitor analyst research, market trends and competitive insights to inform communications and business strategies.
Cross-Functional Communications & Content Collaboration
  • Partner closely with the content, social media, demand generation and digital marketing teams to extend and amplify external messaging across owned and earned channels.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose and integrate earned media coverage, analyst insights, customer stories and thought leadership into blogs, social content, webinars, campaigns and other go-to-market initiatives.
  • Help ensure consistent, compelling storytelling across PR, analyst relations, content marketing and broader brand communications efforts.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and partner teams to strengthen and elevate isolved's platform story through media, analysts, customers and partner ecosystems.
  • Support communications strategies that highlight the value of isolved's partnerships, integrations and broader ecosystem across external channels.
Agency & Program Management
  • Manage external PR agency relationships, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities, messaging and business goals.
  • Provide clear direction, feedback, and accountability to agency partners while maximizing program effectiveness and ROI.
  • Oversee communications calendars, campaign planning, and integrated execution across PR and AR initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all external communications.
Job Complexity

Broad expertise or unique knowledge; contributes to development of company objectives and principles and achieves goals in creative and effective ways. Sought out for functional knowledge and guidance. Anticipates issues and makes considered decisions to avoid them. Barriers to entry such as technical committee review exist at this level.

Interaction

Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups.

Supervision

Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. May supervise the activities of others.

Experience

Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.

  • Understanding of how earned, owned, and shared media channels work together to drive brand visibility and engagement.
