Job description

Position Summary
The Analyst of Administration assists in the creation and development of key administrative projects at WPH as well as regional and Montefiore Health System planning initiatives. Work will include the development of service line strategies for the health system, market analyses, business plans, project management, and other ad-hoc projects.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Include the Following:
  1. Understands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies, and Behaviors
  2. Participate in market analyses of identified regions and services as needed.
  3. Assist in the development of service line strategic planning documents
  4. Assist in the development of business plans for identified strategic initiatives
  5. Perform project management duties for strategic and special projects
  6. Perform as needed ad hoc analyses
  7. Perform as needed financial analyses
  8. Assist with the development of the WPH annual board retreat
  9. Assist with preparing for Hudson Valley collaboration meetings
  10. Work collaboratively with other WPH departments including finance, facilities, physician practices, IT, innovation, clinical informatics, and other departments as required
  11. Performs all other related duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Experience preferred-will consider new graduates
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Databases (Preferred not required)

  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (meeting/event attendance, or at a computer).
  • Ability to speak clearly and with the volume required to carry on clear conversations in person, over the phone and at public events.
  • Must be able to travel to and from Main Hospital Campus, Offsite facilities and other event and venue meeting locations.
