What is an ABA Program Manager?

An ABA Program Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing and coordinating Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs, typically for individuals with autism or other developmental disorders. They manage a team of therapists, ensure that treatment plans are implemented correctly, and monitor client progress. ABA Program Managers also collaborate with families and other professionals, provide staff training, and ensure that all interventions adhere to ethical and clinical standards. Their role is critical in ensuring that clients receive effective, individualized behavioral support.

ABA Program Managers often encounter challenges such as ensuring consistent implementation of behavior intervention plans across multiple therapists, balancing caseloads, and maintaining high-quality documentation.
