The below represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
  • Computer Science, or equivalent degree or industry experience. 
  • 4+ years of software development experience in a professional environment.
  • Regression testing experience for high available, low latency environment 
  • Both mainframe (TPF operating system) and distributed technology-based applications regression testing using automation and tools 
  • Specific technical experience working with following area: IBM TPF, Assembler, Java etc.
  • Core knowledge of platform delivery methodology (Agile, Scrum, Agile XP, Test-driven development, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Distributed Java skill and Mainframe assembly skills 
  • Depending on factors such as business unit requirements, the nature of the position, cost and applicable laws, American Express may provide visa sponsorship for certain positions.

As an Engineer, you will be a responsible to build core features, functions of Credit Authorization system regression suite on mainframe and distributed based integrated regression platform. 

  • You will be a core member of an Regression testing team code working to improve code release quality
  • You will be using assembly and Java languages
  • Lead a culture of innovation and experimentation, engage in fun and outcome-oriented culture, and always be ready to try new concepts without fear of failure.
  • Collaborate with peer technology and development teams across different locations.
  • Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies
  • Work along with stakeholders to understand and analyze the requirements.
