The Opportunity:

That's why we need you, an Electromagnetic Spectrum Analyst who can analyze every aspect of your customers' operations and give them the roadmap to becoming the organization they envision.
As an Electromagnetic Spectrum Analyst on our team, you'll develop an overall picture of your client's structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before. You'll use discussions and engagements with stakeholders to identify the elements that work best in their environment and the areas for improvement. Once you have a thorough understanding of where and how the organization can improve, you'll work on a path forward with team leads, team partners, the client, and senior decision makers.
This is your chance to gain experience in the Electromagnetic Spectrum Enterprise while learning new advising skills. You'll support Department of Defense (DoD) research and analysis and assist with the development of policies and capabilities that support implementation, operations, and sustainment of the Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) Enterprise. You'll develop briefs, issue papers, and white papers, provide meeting support, and assist the team in responding to client inquiries and tasks via formal DoD processes. You'll work in a team environment and client project settings and provide expertise to client engagements and project work streams. You'll work with government organizations to assess, analyze, design, and implement recommendations.

You Have:
  • 1+ years of experience with research, analysis, or advising
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, or PowerPoint
  • Experience with developing and presenting individual and team products
  • Knowledge of the DoD
  • Knowledge of the EMS
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience with research, analysis, or advising
  • 2+ years of experience with information technology
  • Experience with data management and data analytics
  • Experience working in a DoD environment, including with military departments, Joint Staff, Combatant Command, Service, or Agency IT organizations and environments
  • Knowledge of Defense Command, Control, and Communications (C3)
  • Knowledge of DoD EMS, Electromagnetic Warfare, and wide data solutions
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and risk management, cloud infrastructure and machine learning, and project management principles and best practices
  • Ability to conduct analysis of data and present findings with recommended courses of action
  • Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
