Job description

The Forward Deployed Process Consultant will play a critical role in bridging executive-level strategy with operational execution. This position requires a deep understanding of healthcare metrics, process optimization, and best practice workflows. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with executives and production staff alike, serving as a change champion in challenging scenarios.
Here's what you will experience working as a Process Consultant:
  • Translate business requirements into technical architecture and implementation plans by conducting a current state assessment including standard operating procedures and process mapping
  • Partner with Process Engineers and consulting teams to deliver end-to-end solutions by creating a product vision document, product roadmap and future state process flow.
  • Provide technical and operational guidance throughout the engagement
  • Design implementation and stakeholder communication plan for client-specific use cases
  • Design end user technology training and change management plan to drive adoption and create feedback loop for ongoing support
  • Develop sustainable mechanisms to monitor KPIs and SLAs that provide measurable value creation and performance tracking for steady state operations
  • Collaborate with executive teams to align medical coding processes with strategic objectives.
  • Analyze and optimize medical coding workflows leveraging AI technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and operational teams to ensure seamless communication and implementation of best practices.
  • Travel up to 50% to engage with clients and stakeholders.

Required Skills:
  • Experience in healthcare client facing consulting. Healthcare certifications in coding audits are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Significant experience in project management, process improvement, and implementation support.
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS & CPT/HCPCS coding guidelines and reimbursement methodologies.
  • AAPC or AHIMA Certified coding professional: CIC, CPC, CCS, RHIA, RHIT preferred for a Mid-Cycle Coding Consultant.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $145,000.00 - $248,837.87 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
