Afterschool Paraprofessional – Full-Time (30 Hours/Week)

Now Hiring: Afterschool Paraprofessional

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Afterschool Paraprofessional to join a supportive school team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to positively impact students' academic, social, and behavioral growth.

Position Details

  • Afterschool Paraprofessional
  • Full-Time, 30 hours per week
  • Current school year
  • School-Based

Responsibilities

  •  Provide one-on-one and small group support to students during afterschool programming.
  •  Assist students with academic enrichment, homework, and recreational activities.
  •  Encourage positive behavior and help maintain a safe, structured environment.
  •  Collaborate with school staff to support student success.
  •  Assist with supervision during transitions, activities, and dismissal.
  •  Foster meaningful relationships with students while promoting independence and confidence.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience working with children or students preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
