The Opportunity

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) seeks a dynamic, student-centered, and forward-thinking Admissions Operations MailSpecialist to provide visionary leadership.

The Admissions Operations MailSpecialistsupports the flow of high-volume documents, collaborates with student staff, and helps maintain accurate data within the university CRM. This role assists with mail operations, inventory coordination, and digital record systems, while providing day-to-day support to the imaging and application processing teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operations & Team Support: Assist with recruiting, training, scheduling, and guiding student workers who help with mail sorting, scanning, and data entry.

  • CRM & Data Management: Support data updates and quality assurance efforts within the Salesforce environment.

  • Mass Communication: Help prepare and execute mail merges using Microsoft Excel and Salesforce to produce admission letters and recruitment materials.

  • Workflow Support: Offer troubleshooting assistance and operational support to document imaging and application teams, particularly during busy processing periods.

  • Inventory Coordination: Monitor and help maintain appropriate stock levels of mailing supplies, brochures, and envelopes.

  • Physical Mail Support: Assist with transporting, receiving, sorting, logging, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including occasional use of university vehicles.

  • Admissions Processing Support: Assist Admissions Specialists with application review preparation, data entry, document processing, and other operational tasks during peak admission cycles and high-volume processing periods to help maintain service levels and application turnaround times.

Compensation


The hourly rate for this role isup to$19.23. The final offer will be based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs, and may fall outside of the stated range.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required (associate'sdegree preferred).

  • Technical Experience:Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including functions such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and mail merges).Salesforce experience is preferred

  • Credentials: Valid driver's license with a good driving record for operating university vehicles.

  • Leadership: Experience supporting or coordinating the work of student employees or temporary staff is helpful.
