Woodberry Forest School seeks an Assistant Director of Admission, Enrollment Operations. This role is a key member of an eight-person admission team and works closely with the Assistant Headmaster, Director of Admission and Tuition Assistance, and Associate Director of Admission on the development and execution of the school’s strategic enrollment plan. The position is managed by the Associate Director of Admission.

The Assistant Director leads the operational functions of the admission office, ensuring that systems, processes, and communications support a seamless and highly personalized experience for prospective families. This position serves as the primary coordinator of admission operations, with responsibility for database management and communication workflows, and plays a central role in supporting the execution of the admission cycle from inquiry through enrollment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serving as a primary point of contact for the admission office, ensuring timely and thoughtful communication with families

  • Managing admission database systems, including SLATE, Blackbaud, and SAO

  • Overseeing inquiry and application management, including data integrity, application flow, and completion tracking

  • Coordinating communication workflows across email, print, and digital outreach

  • Managing admission materials, including mailings, packets, and related collateral

  • Supporting the development and refinement of systems and processes to improve efficiency, reporting, and user experience

  • Partnering with the admission team to support recruitment, yield, and enrollment goals

  • Generating reports and conducting basic data analysis to inform decision-making
