Job description

Randolph-Macon College invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Admissions Operations and Communications Coordinator position. Reporting to the Senior Assistant Director of Enrollment Operations and Technology, this position serves as a member of the Enrollment Management team and supports admissions operations, enrollment technology, application processing, communications execution, and enrollment reporting. The Coordinator assists with maintaining operational processes that support prospective students throughout the admissions funnel while ensuring data integrity, efficient workflow management, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update admissions communication templates, operational documents, and decision communications within Slate CRM.
  • Coordinate the processing and release of admissions decisions and related correspondence while ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Support enrollment operations by assisting with Slate CRM administration, reporting, queries, forms, dashboards, and workflow management.
  • Process and audit inquiry, application, and enrollment records to ensure timely and accurate movement of applicants through the admissions funnel.
  • Assist with admissions communication campaigns, audience management, and quality assurance for email, text, portal, and print communications.
  • Maintain admissions-related information across institutional websites and external platforms.
  • Provide backup support for key Admissions Operations staff and assist with other enrollment management initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Two to five years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, higher education administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with databases and CRM systems; experience with Slate preferred.
  • Experience with student information systems; experience with Jenzabar preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong skills in professional written communication, business correspondence, proofreading, and document formatting.
  • Commitment to data integrity, customer service, and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment.
