Job Summary and Qualifications

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Department Director and Manager. Interacts with physicians, directors, managers, ancillary and department staff. The Administrative Assistant facilitates the completion of department assignments.

What will you do in this role:

· Prepares accurately with attention to details

· Prepares correspondence, reports, and materials for presentations

· Sets up and coordinates meetings

· Creates, transcribes and distributes meeting agendas and minutes

· Answers telephones and handles calls in an appropriate manner

· Meets and greets patients and visitors

· Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to: copying, faxing, mailing and filing

· Maintains hard copy and electronic filing system

· Researches, prices and purchases

· Demonstrates ability to maintain a safe environment

· Promotes internal and external customer satisfaction.

What qualifications do you need:

Required: Proficient with Microsoft Office and telephone protocols; computer literate with ability to learn new software applications; CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days of hire

Preferred: High school diploma or GED; 3-5 years technical, clerical experience

Must exhibit quality communication skills with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
