Administrative Assistant

Deerfield Community School, a PreK-8 public school in Deerfield, NH, is seeking qualified and enthusiastic candidates for an Administrative Assistant position for the 2026-2027 school year.

We are looking for a team oriented professional who is passionate about working collaboratively to support our school's success.

The DCS Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive support to school administration, staff, students, and families while ensuring the efficient operation of the school office. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing student and staff records within the school information system (ALMA)

  • Maintaining attendance, scheduling, registration, reporting, and database systems

  • Supporting communication between school departments and families

Key duties include, but not limited to:

  • Overseeing student enrollment and registration processes

  • Maintaining accurate student and staff records
  • Assist with scheduling and report generation
  • Manage attendance and discipline documentation
  • Prepare required state and district reports

The position also supports office operations by answering phones, assisting staff and families, operating office technology, creating documents and school communications, and coordinating report cards, assessment records, and student file management.

The ideal candidate is:
