7.5 hours per day/ 210 days per year $23.00+ hourly

To provide a well-organized, efficient office to benefit students, staff, and the public.

Prior secretarial and computer experience

Pre-Employment Medical Exam:
Required per NH RSA 200:36 and 275:3
EVALUATION:
Performance of position responsibilities will be evaluated annually in accordance with the approved administrative procedure for staff evaluations.
GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Facilitate office operations.
2.
Greets all persons entering facility, following District safety and security procedures.
3.
Answers telephones, answers parents' questions and/or forwards calls/messages in a professional manner.
4.
Perform office functions to include, but not limited to, setting up and maintaining files, correspondence, student and staff lists, mail distribution, purchase orders and general typing and data entry.
5.
Maintain student records and database and produce reports as needed.
6.
Assist administrator with the budget, purchasing, and inventory of supplies as directed.
7.
Monitor student behavior in the office when necessary.
8.
Prepare payroll timesheets and distribute payroll checks.
9.
Facilitate school-wide operations.
10.
Schedule substitutes and assist substitutes with paperwork process and school procedures.
11.
Arrange and facilitate meetings and record meeting minutes as needed.
12.
Maintain building calendar and make necessary arrangements for school events as needed.
13.
Assist in arrangement of field trips including paperwork, funds, student lists, etc.
14.
Insure safety and/or supervision of students.
15.
Maintain awareness of legal restrictions in regard to student custody issues.
16.
Respond to student and staff situations including emergencies.
17.
Maintain the highest standards of professionalism.
18.
Demonstrate positive work habits by showing initiative, cooperation, dependability, efficiency, and productivity.
19.
Follow guidelines of confidentiality as established by the school district.
20.
Attend and participate in relevant training sessions, meetings, and professional growth activities as requested/required.
21.
Perform in a professional manner when interacting with students, parents, faculty, administration, and co-workers.
