Job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Engineering Technician positions in Southington, CT. This is a great opportunity to further your existing skills as an Engineering Technician, while learning new ones to assist you in your career. Responsibilities:

  • Support R&D projects by building prototypes, conducting product testing, validating test methods, and analyzing engineering data

  • Perform laboratory, inventory, and equipment maintenance while ensuring a safe, organized, and compliant work environment

  • Assist with fixture design, sample inventory management, and troubleshooting equipment and testing processes

  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to support product development, continuous improvement, and engineering initiatives

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required plus 3-5 years of engineering technician experience in a manufacturing or testing environment, OR an Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field

  • Basic knowledge of SolidWorks, technical drawing/drafting, Minitab, and mechanical engineering principles

  • Familiarity with GMP, FDA, ISO 9001 standards, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies

  • Ability to analyze data, communicate effectively, work independently, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
