Job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in their search for Lead Engineering Technician positions in Southington, CT. This is a great opportunity to further your existing engineering and laboratory skills while learning new ones to assist you in your career. Responsibilities:
  • Lead, train, and mentor Engineering Technicians while providing technical guidance within the R&D laboratory.

  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct laboratory testing, product evaluations, failure investigations, and quality assurance testing.

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data; prepare technical reports, recommendations, and engineering documentation.

  • Support new product development, continuous improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and laboratory operations while maintaining GMP, FDA, and ISO standards.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience, OR Associate Degree/Technical Certificate with a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible engineering technician experience.

  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing, testing, medical device, or laboratory environment preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, laboratory testing methods, troubleshooting, data analysis, and technical documentation.

  • Ability to lead and train technical personnel, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Pay Details: $41.00 per hour
