Notre équipe de comptabilité du siège social est à la recherche d’un(e) Comptable senior pour se joindre à notre équipe en pleine croissance. Relevant directement du Gestionnaire de la comptabilité, le/la Comptable senior est responsable de maintenir des dossiers financiers exacts et de soutenir diverses fonctions comptables, avec un accent particulier sur la comptabilité des coûts d’inventaire. Ce rôle contribue au succès opérationnel et financier de nos cliniques à travers le Canada.


Responsabilités principales :

  • Soutenir les procédures de clôture mensuelle et annuelle, en respectant les échéanciers de production des rapports financiers
  • Préparer les écritures de journal, les régularisations et les rapprochements des comptes du grand livre
  • Préparer les états financiers, réviser l’imputation comptable du grand livre et analyser les écarts entre le budget et les résultats réels
  • Préparer les écritures et rapprochements liés à l’inventaire et au coût des marchandises vendues (CMV)
  • Assurer l’exactitude des flux de données entre les systèmes opérationnels et comptables
  • Maintenir des registres d’inventaire exacts dans le système ERP comptable
  • Réviser les inventaires physiques et les résultats de comptages cycliques pour en valider l’exactitude et la cohérence
  • Surveiller le respect des procédures opérationnelles normalisées (SOP) relatives à l’inventaire dans l’ensemble des sites
  • Produire et analyser les rapports d’inventaire et de marge brute pour la direction
  • Participer à l’amélioration des processus et documenter les procédures comptables
  • Soutenir les audits externes en préparant la documentation et les explications requises


Qualifications :

  • Les candidats au titre de CPA sont encouragés à postuler
  • Baccalauréat en comptabilité ou dans un domaine connexe
  • 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en comptabilité des coûts ou de l’inventaire
  • Expérience dans le secteur de la santé ou du commerce de détail, en environnement multi-sites (un atout)
  • Connaissance des méthodes de valorisation des stocks et des principes comptables
  • Excellentes aptitudes analytiques et souci du détail
  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Excel et des systèmes ERP comptables
  • Capacité à gérer les priorités et à respecter les échéanciers
  • Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et en communication
  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais). L’anglais est requis afin de collaborer efficacement avec les cliniques et les directeurs régionaux à travers le Canada, notamment en Alberta, au Manitoba et en Ontario.

Our Head Office Accounting team is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting functions with emphasis on inventory cost accounting. This role contributes to the operational and financial success of our clinics across Canada.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the month-end and year-end close procedures, adhering to month end reporting deadlines
  • Prepare journal entries and accruals and general ledger account reconciliations
  • Prepare financial statements, review general ledger coding and analyze budget to actuals
  • Prepare inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) related journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate data flow between operational systems and accounting
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the accounting ERP system
  • Review physical inventory counts and cycle count results for accuracy and reasonability.
  • Monitor compliance with inventory standard operating procedures (SOPs) across locations.
  • Generate and analyse inventory and gross margin reports for management
  • Participate in process improvement and document accounting procedures
  • Support external audit activities by preparing requested documentation and explanations


Qualifications:

  • CPA candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in cost or inventory accounting
  • Health or retail industry, multi-location experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with inventory costing methods and accounting principles
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting ERP systems
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingual (French & English).
