This is a Fall 2026 internship An internship in accounting and internal audit at National Bank means contributing directly to financial discipline and the continuous improvement of our processes. This job allows you to make a positive impact with your knowledge of accounting, financial data analysis, and auditing. If you are motivated and want to gain experience in a stimulating and challenging environment, join National Bank's Corporate Finance sector as an intern! Your role : Improve an SQL/SAP/Excel analysis environment. Set up or improve Excel analysis tools and develop dashboards.

Optimize our methods and simplify disclosure and management analysis with different business lines. Support the production of hedge accounting calculations. Support the production of the quarterly and annual reports.

Participate in internal audit mandates to audit the Bank's processes and activities (non-financial audits). Communicate the results of your audit work to the mandate team and participate in the communication of recommendations to the audited sectors. Carry out financial audit and internal control work, assisting external auditors, as part of the audit of the Bank's financial statements.

Your team: Within the Finance sector, you are part of a team of more than 600 colleagues and report to the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis. Internships are currently available in the Financial Markets and Subsidiaries Accounting, Accounting, Consolidation and Disclosure and Internal Audit teams. We favor a variety of forms of continuous learning to enrich your development, including learning in action, training content made available to you and you will have the opportunity to put your learning into practice and live a dynamic experience by working in collaboration with colleagues of diverse expertise and profiles.

Prerequisites : 1st or 2nd university cycle student in a field related to accounting or auditing. Strong analytical skills and good understanding of financial concepts. Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of artificial intelligence.

Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely. Ability to solve complex problems.
