Nous recherchons un comptable qui possede un excellent sens du detail et de la precision pour rejoindre notre service comptable. Ce poste consiste a analyser, traiter et rapprocher les transactions financieres. Le candidat ideal possede de solides competences analytiques pour enqueter sur les ecarts, garantir l'exactitude financiere et soutenir les previsions et le budget.

Principales responsabilites

  • Diriger les processus de cloture de fin de mois et de fin d'annee, y compris les ecritures comptables, les charges a payer et les rapprochements
  • Tenir et rapprocher les comptes du grand livre general, en veillant a leur exactitude et a leur exhaustivite
  • Analyser les resultats financiers, identifier les ecarts et fournir des explications
  • Soutenir les activites de budgetisation, de prevision et de gestion des flux de tresorerie
  • Collaborer avec le cabinet comptable et aider a la preparation des documents de fin d'exercice
  • Recommander et mettre en uvre des ameliorations des processus afin d'accroitre l'efficacite et les controles internes
  • Encadrer et soutenir le personnel comptable junior selon les besoins
  • Accomplir d'autres taches selon les besoins

Qualifications

  • Baccalaureat en comptabilite
  • Au moins 2 a 3 ans d'experience en comptabilite a cycle complet
  • Ce poste necessite une maitrise de l'anglais pour communiquer avec les parties prenantes hors du Quebec
  • Solides connaissances de l'ASPE et les normes et meilleures pratiques comptables

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Accounting Department. This role is responsible for analyzing, processing and reconciling financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills to investigate discrepancies, ensure financial accuracy, and support forecasting and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide explanations
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
  • Collaborate with the accounting firm and assist in preparing year-end documentation
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls
  • Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
