Vous etes un professionnel de la comptabilite organise, minutieux et analytique, a l'aise dans un environnement dynamique et collaboratif. Vous accordez une grande importance a l'exactitude, a la confidentialite et au respect des echeanciers. Vous etes egalement proactif et cherchez a ameliorer les processus financiers.


Responsabilites

  • Gerer les activites comptables quotidiennes, notamment les comptes fournisseurs, les comptes clients et le grand livre.
  • Traiter les factures, rapports de depenses et paiements aux fournisseurs.
  • Effectuer les rapprochements bancaires et de comptes.
  • Participer aux clotures mensuelles et annuelles et preparer les ecritures de journal.
  • Effectuer les consolidations et rapprochements intersocietes.
  • Travailler avec la comptabilite d'exercice dans un environnement multidevises.
  • Soutenir les rapports financiers, budgets, previsions et le suivi des flux de tresorerie.
  • Soutenir le traitement de la paie en collaboration avec les equipes internes et les fournisseurs externes.
  • Preparer la documentation pour les audits externes et les declarations fiscales.
  • Maintenir des dossiers financiers precis et assurer le suivi de la documentation justificative.
  • Identifier des possibilites d'amelioration des processus comptables et des controles internes.
  • Collaborer avec les equipes de production, operations, RH et direction sur les questions financieres.
  • Effectuer toute autre tache comptable ou financiere selon les besoins.

Qualifications

  • Diplome en comptabilite, finance ou domaine connexe, ou experience equivalente.
  • 3+ annees d'experience en comptabilite, idealement dans le divertissement, les medias, les VFX, l'animation ou les industries creatives.
  • Solide comprehension des principes comptables et de l'information financiere.
  • Connaissance des PCGR canadiens et/ou des US GAAP.
  • Experience en comptabilite d'exercice et dans un environnement multidevises.
  • Experience avec des logiciels comptables et des systemes ERP.
  • Maitrise avancee de Microsoft Excel, notamment VLOOKUP, tableaux croises dynamiques et macros.
  • Bonne maitrise de Google Workspace.
  • Excellentes competences organisationnelles, analytiques et de communication.
  • Capacite a gerer plusieurs priorites et a respecter les echeanciers.
  • Capacite a travailler de facon autonome et en equipe.
  • Professionnalisme, integrite et discretion dans le traitement de renseignements confidentiels.
  • Experience en traitement de la paie, un atout.

You are a detail-oriented and organized accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You take pride in accuracy, maintain confidentiality, and are comfortable managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communicate effectively across departments, and are proactive in improving financial processes and maintaining accurate records.


What You'll Do

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Support financial reporting and provide analysis as required.
  • Perform consolidations and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Work with accrual-based accounting across multiple currencies.
  • Apply knowledge of US and/or Canadian GAAP to accounting processes and financial reporting.
  • Support payroll processing by coordinating with internal teams and external providers as needed. Payroll processing experience is considered an asset.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking.
  • Prepare documentation and schedules for external audits and tax filings.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and organize supporting documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with production, operations, HR, and leadership teams on financial matters and reporting requirements.
  • Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3 + years of accounting experience, preferably in the entertainment, media, VFX, animation, or creative industries.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with US and/or Canadian GAAP.
  • Experience with accrual-based accounting and multiple currencies.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (G Suite).
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
  • Payroll processing experience is considered an asset.
  • CPA designation or progress toward CPA certification is considered an asset.
