Senior Accounting Consultant
Tampa, FL
Compensation: $45-$55/hour

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant to support our clients with complex accounting initiatives and high-level financial reporting needs. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can step into fast-paced environments, provide immediate value, and operate with minimal oversight.

As a Senior Accounting Consultant, you will work closely with leadership teams to strengthen accounting processes, ensure compliance, and support critical business initiatives during periods of change, growth, or transformation.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accounting Consultant:

  • Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Support technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition and lease accounting
  • Assist with audit preparation and serve as a liaison with external auditors
  • Identify process improvements and implement best practices
