Are you looking for a new contract opportunity in Phoenix? Our client, within the SaaS industry, is seeking an Accounting Consultant to support their team. This role offers the chance to expand your technical accounting experience, work with a supportive leadership team that values autonomy, and make an immediate impact within a PE-backed organization. Job Responsibilities:

·        Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate processing across financial operations

·        Lead the month-end and year-end close process, maintaining timely and accurate financial reporting

·        Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting analyses to ensure data integrity

·        Monitor cash flow by overseeing receivables, payables, and billing activities while helping improve operational efficiency

·        Support domestic and international tax compliance, including indirect tax filings and related reporting requirements

·        Maintain fixed asset records and assist with accounting related to acquisitions, capital investments, and depreciation

·        Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives

·        Coordinate with external auditors and support compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

·        Bachelors degree in Accounting

·        Experience with NetSuite, high-volume transaction processing, and the pace and reporting expectations of a private equity-backed organization

·        Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS)
