  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment (With possibility of extension)

A leading digital streaming network seeks a Finance Consultant to support cash management and financial planning activities by developing forecasts, maintaining cash planning models, performing variance analysis, supporting budgeting and long-range planning.

Finance Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Support cash management and financial planning activities by preparing long-range plans, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, 13-week cash forecasts, variance analyses, and ad hoc financial analyses for Film and corporate business units.
  • Maintain company-wide cash planning, theatrical cash forecasting, and physical and digital transactional cash forecasting models while ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation of actual cash flows.
  • Partner with Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, and Business Units to collect forecast data, reconcile actual results, explain variances, and support weekly cash flow planning and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, streamline financial data collection processes, manage financial risks and opportunities, and support achievement of P&L and cash flow objectives.
  • Develop financial models, prepare management presentations and reports, and provide analytical support for internal leadership and cross-functional business initiatives.

Finance Consultant Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a financial planning or corporate finance environment is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and understanding of financial statements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Hyperion and Essbase is preferred.
  • Entertainment or media industry experience is preferred.

Shift:

  • 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
