CLIENT ACCOUNTANT SUPERVISOR
This Senior Client Accountant role is a great opportunity. You would be joining a family-oriented office in Chattanooga while receiving support from seasoned industry professionals in the market and receive mentorship from Senior team members.
SCOPE OF WORK FOR CLIENT ACCOUNTANT
Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned CAAS clients.
Oversee month-end and year-end accounting processes.
Review financial statements, account reconciliations, and accounting work prepared by staff.
Function as an outsourced Controller for client organizations.
Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Lead accounting system implementations and process improvement initiatives.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and supervision to CAAS staff and seniors.
Collaborate with partners and managers to identify client service opportunities.
Participate in business development and client retention efforts.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of accounting experience.
CPA license preferred.
Public accounting, Accounting Manager or Controller experience.
Experience with multiple accounting software platforms and cloud-based systems including QBO.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls.
Demonstrated experience managing accounting functions or leading accounting teams.
Experience preparing and reviewing complex financial statements.
Excellent client management and communication skills.
