Position Overview
Senior Revenue Accountants are responsible for supporting all aspects of the revenue accounting operations for the company and report to the Revenue Manager. The position will provide an opportunity to join a successful, rapidly-growing software company.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage client annual renewals process
  • Review revenue recognized under ASC 606, including overall contract evaluation
  • Review customer contracts to create billing and revenue recognition schedules
  • Participate in the month-end close process, including review of revenue-related general ledger accounts
  • Perform analysis on recurring revenue
  • Manage audit compliance by compiling and preparing information as requested
  • Lead the financial integration of acquired companies
  • Champion process improvements for finance systems (Intacct, OpenAir, Salesforce)
  • Manage quarterly deliverables process
  • Manage staff of 3 revenue accountants
  • Assist with other critical projects as needed

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline required
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience required
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • Management experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and technical capabilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and a strong desire to contribute as an essential member of the team
  • Ability to thrive in an ever-changing, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
