Ontic is recruiting for a driven and collaborative Accounting Associate for Accounts Receivable.You will report to the Finance Controller and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC.

To be considered for the Accounting Associate (AR) opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Associates Degree in Accounting preferable
  • 2+ years accounting experience using an ERP system in a manufacturing environment is a must.
  • Proficient MS Office skills (Excel, Word, etc)
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Willing and able to work in a dynamic team environment

As an Accounting Associate (AR), you will:

  • Performs Daily Customer Invoicing
  • Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
  • Monitors customer accounts receivable balances on a regular basis to ensure accounts are current; contacts customers to collect on past due accounts
  • Investigates and resolves issues as they relate to billing, short payments, over payments, credit memos, etc.
  • Performs entry and reconciliation of G/L accounts for Accounts Receivable
  • Assists with General Ledger journal entries
  • Assists with weekly check runs, monitoring of emails for payables/receivables, etc. as needed
  • Performs administrative and office support activities for various departments within the organization
