Position Summary

As the Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating customer relationships, client retention, developing and executing strategic growth plans and revenue expansion. This position will work closely with customers and the account team to evaluate new areas of opportunity, develop innovative selling strategies, and foster strong client relationships to maximize account potential.

Major Responsibilities

Strategic Account Development

  • Uncovers organizational gaps to drive targeted expansion.
  • Prospecting new growth opps different departments to cultivate new revenue streams, including group buys, new hire programs, sales/incentive gifts, print solutions, and more.
  • Develop, execute and track strategic growth plans across assigned accounts.
  • Cross departmental collaboration to deliver client solutions.
  • Support Director of Corporate Accounts throughout implementation for new Corporate Account client

Client Relationship Ownership

  • Builds relationships across multiple roles and departments to strengthen account stability.
  • Represents the team in high level client meetings and internal discussions.
  • Delivers client presentations with clarity and maximizes in person opportunity potential.
  • Travel or virtually meet with top clients as needed.

Account Team Development

  • Coaches Account Managers on strategic thinking and growth identification.
  • Ensures Account Managers are aligned to the broader strategy and are driving consistent client experiences.
  • Guides team members on prioritizing time and effort toward high-impact accounts and opportunities.
  • Monitor team performance in relation to KPI’s and counsel if necessary.

Performance & Accountability

  • Monitors account revenue growth, pipeline velocity, and win rates.
  • Maintains clear visibility into the team pipeline and strategic opportunities across the account base.
  • Drives accountability through regular check-ins, progress reviews, and clear goal setting.
  • Manage KPI’s of assigned accounts to achieve growth goal.

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 8+ years of sales experience
  • 2+ years of leading a team
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking ability as well as ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • High energy / can do attitude.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Salesforce, Order Management software experience a plus
