We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Account Executive to join our team and contribute to our growing success.

Outside Account Executive in the LTL (Less Than Truckload) trucking industry

As an Account Executive in our LTL division, you will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. You will identify and pursue new sales opportunities, understand customer needs, and provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute an effective sales plan for your territory.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the LTL trucking market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of LTL trucking and its advantages.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred, equivalent experience.
