Job description

Job Title: Provisioning Analyst

Location: Mathews, LA

Job Overview: A Provisioning Analyst prepares and produces provisioning technical documentation and logistics support documentation in accordance with Company, military and commercial specifications and standards. The analyst organizes and prepares specified provisioning documentation including compilation/analysis of source material. Responsibilities include coordinating the development, editing, composition, production, and delivery of assigned provisioning technical documentation in accordance with applicable specifications/standards and other requirements, as well as coordinating required ancillary services and interdepartmental activities.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Reviews ship’s drawings and matches equipment purchases to drawings.

·         Understands equipment/system ship work breakdown structure (SWBS).

·         Contacts vendors for detailed information on shipboard equipment and machinery.

·         Inputs equipment information into various software or databases.

·         Participates in shipboard validation.

·         Organizes and updates databases.

·         Meets government submittal deadlines.

·         Copies and files various forms and documents.

·         Responsible for generating and submitting configuration data.

Qualifications:

·         One (1) to two (2) years of experience in shipbuilding logistics support or related field preferred.

·         College degree and/or some college preferred.

·         Minimum of one (1) year of experience in data management, including experience using workflow management tools to track compliance, task progress, and/or quality of work.

·         Proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF.

·         Proficiency in data collection, processing, and interpretation of technical documentation and/or research materials.

·         Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.

·         Experience working in a structured and process-driven environment with critical deadlines.

Skills and Abilities:

·         Basic knowledge of computers and computer software

·         Strong organizational, problem‑solving and data‑driven decision‑making skills

·         Able to continuously work with detailed information

·         Use and understand engineering or CAD drawings

·         Ability to work independently or with a team
