As a Security Officer Access Provisioning in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and monitoring access activity. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
  • Monitor and control access at designated entry points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate access-related logs.
  • Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is required.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
