Job description

Position Summary


The Fulfillment Lead is responsible for directing daily outbound fulfillment workflows, coordinating order processing schedules, and leading a team of fulfillment associates. You will ensure orders are picked, packed, and staged accurately according to client SOPs, while driving productivity and dock safety across the fulfillment floor.


Key Responsibilities


Outbound Floor Supervision: Lead daily fulfillment operations, delegate order pick lists to associates, and ensure target order throughput and SLA deadlines are consistently met.

Order Accuracy & Quality Control: Conduct audit checks on picked items and custom packaging to maintain high accuracy across single-item and complex multi-SKU orders.

WMS & Shipping Systems Management: Utilize handheld barcode scanners and our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track order statuses, generate shipping labels, and manage carrier manifests (UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL).

Work Orders & Kitting: Coordinate special client work orders, including value-added services (VAS), custom packaging, kitting, inserts, and branded packing slips.

Inventory Control & Replenishment: Monitor pick-face inventory levels, coordinate with replenishment teams to prevent stockouts at pick stations, and assist with cycle counts.

Safety & Workplace Standards: Enforce company safety protocols, ensure fulfillment stations remain clean and stocked with packing materials, and maintain a distraction-free floor environment.


Qualifications & Requirements


Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of high-volume e-commerce or B2B fulfillment experience in a 3PL or distribution center. Prior team lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with WMS platforms, barcode scanners, and shipping software. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.

Equipment Experience: Preferred experience operating pallet jacks and light material handling equipment.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours), lift up to 50 lbs, and work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, sharp eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to operational troubleshooting.
