Lucky 13 Salt Lake City is looking to hire food runners. We are a high-volume, award-winning bar known for incredible burgers, strong team culture, and fast-paced service.

We are especially looking for individuals with full-time open availability who are self-motivated, intelligent, kind, dependable, and driven. Experience is great, but work ethic, attitude, and reliability matter even more. We are willing to train the right people.

Since opening our doors in 2009, Lucky 13 has become one of Salt Lake City's most recognized and award-winning bars. Known for our creative burgers, house-smoked bacon, high energy, and strong hospitality culture, we take pride in delivering an experience guests remember.

From the famous Nut Butter Burger to the Fungus Amongus, our food has built a reputation - but great food only works when it is backed by great people and great service.

That is where our food runners come in.

WHAT THIS POSITION REALLY IS

Food runners are one of the most important positions in the building.

This role is fast-paced, physical, detail-oriented, and critical to the guest experience. A great food runner helps control the flow of the floor, supports the kitchen and service team, and ensures guests receive hot, accurate food quickly and professionally.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver food quickly, accurately, and professionally

  • Ensure plates are complete, organized, and correct before leaving the kitchen

  • Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management

  • Maintain urgency during high-volume shifts while staying calm and focused

  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift

  • Anticipate team and guest needs before being asked

  • Support overall guest experience through professionalism and hospitality

PAY & SCHEDULE
