To become a video game producer, you need a passion for gaming and knowledge of computer programming languages, like C, Java, or Visual Basic. Most jobs require a bachelor’s degree in computer science, game design, or a related field. Courses in mathematics, animation, and business can also give you skills you need to be successful in this career. Many video game producers start with an internship or in a tester position.
