How to Become a Humanities Instructor

A humanities instructor must obtain a bachelor’s degree in the specific field in which they will be teaching as well as a master’s degree. Typically, a doctorate in a particular humanities field is also required to teach at a four-year college. They can be part of the faculty full-time and perform research or field work, or teach lessons part-time or online.
