Training Administrator

Location: Lewis Center, OH (Onsite)

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Integration Manager

FLSA Class: Exempt ($60,000/year)

Position Summary

The Training Administrator is responsible for building, managing, and maintaining the company's Learning Management System (LMS) infrastructure. This role supports the design and delivery of both in-person and online training programs, ensuring all learning content is effectively created, assigned, tracked, and monitored. The ideal candidate is people-focused, organized, creative, and adaptable — someone who can pivot quickly and thrive in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities

LMS Administration

  • Design and maintain the physical LMS framework and overall system architecture
  • Create, assign, track, and monitor training courses within the LMS
  • Ensure training content is current, accessible, and aligned with organizational needs
  • Generate reports on training completion, progress, and compliance metrics


Training Delivery Support

  • Facilitate and support in-person and online group training sessions
  • Coordinate training schedules, materials, rosters, and communications
  • Assist facilitators with administrative needs before, during, and after sessions
  • Maintain accurate digital and physical training records per retention policies


Tracking & Reporting

  • Utilize Excel to track training assignments, completions, and compliance requirements
  • Use ADP to assign and monitor training activity across the organization
  • Track deadlines, renewals, and reporting requirements

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma (or bachelor's degree if your company requires it)
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating or supporting employee training, learning, or HR programs.
  • Experience using an HRIS, LMS, or similar enterprise software.
  • Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience tracking training records, reporting, or maintaining compliance documentation.


Preferred

  • Experience with Absorb LMS
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience in security, compliance, technology, or another regulated industry
  • Experience in creating e-learning content or learning paths
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools
