What you'll be doing...ย ย 

The Manager of Training and Developmentย is responsible forย building and leading the organization's learning and development strategy. This role drives employee growth and business performance through a blended learning approach that combines instructor-led training, learning management system (LMS) resources, on-the-job application, and collaboration with business leaders and subject matter experts.ย 

Partnering closely with leaders across the organization, the Manager assesses development needs, designs andย facilitatesย engaging training programs, and creates learning pathways that support employee success from onboarding through leadership development. This position oversees the LMS, manages learning content and resources, and measures program effectiveness to ensure learning initiatives deliver meaningful business results.ย 

  • Develop andย facilitateย leadership training programs for new and experienced leaders, focused on communication, coaching, accountability, and change management.ย ย 
  • Deliver engaging instructor-led workshops, cohorts, and development programs that promote practical skill application.ย ย 
  • Build and support a network of facilitators and subject matter experts to ensure consistent, high-quality learningย experiences.ย ย 
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive learning roadmap, including onboarding, leadership development, and professional growth programs.ย ย 
  • Develop job aids, standard work, reference materials, and knowledge resources that support employee performance and learning.ย ย 
  • Administer and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS), including learning paths, content management, reporting, and engagement.ย ย 
  • Partner with HRBPsย and business leaders to create role-based development plans aligned with competencies and performance expectations.ย ย 
  • Measure training effectiveness using participation, feedback, performance, and business outcomes; continuously improve programs and learning strategies.ย ย 

This role is full-time, on-site in our Seattle office.ย ย 

Who You Are...ย ย 

  • Educated.ย Bachelor's degree in business, education, human resources, organizational development, orย a relatedย fieldย required.ย 
  • Experienced.ย 7+ years inย adultย learning and development, including design and facilitation of leadership andย soft-skillsย programs.ย 
  • Technicallyย Savvy.ย Proven experience using SaaS LMSย products;ย including configuration and administration basics, learning path design, reporting, and governance to support instructor-led and self-paced learning.ย Experience withย Absorb LMS is a plus.ย ย 
  • Businessย Partner.ย Assess needs with leaders and recommend practical solutionsย with the abilityย to turnย policies,ย and leadership standards into clear, teachable behaviorsย and tools.ย ย 
  • Strongย Presenter.ย facilitation presence with credibility in front of first-time leaders and experienced managers; able to teach, coach, and handle real scenarios with confidence.ย 
  • Curriculumย Creator.ย Create from scratch, pilot quickly, and improve based on feedback andย observedย outcomes.ย Proven experience building onboarding programs and blended learning paths that improve ramp time, consistency, and manager readiness.ย
