Digital Operations Solutions Manager
Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. We are currently seeking a Digital Operations Solutions Manager who will lead the optimization and improvements of business processes within the SAP operations environment. This role involves identifying inefficiencies, implementing innovative solutions, and ensuring the smooth integration of SAP modules across the organization's operations. Identify, design and optimize areas requiring improvement in operational workflows and SAP processes. This will be accomplished by driving solutions to enhance productivity, performance, as well as overall business processes optimization within SAP. All focused on improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to identify and drive initiatives that will reduce operational costs through SAP process improvements in efficiency, productivity, effectiveness, and visibility.
  • Act as the key point of contact for SAP-related operational issues, resolving pain points, inefficiencies, and complex problems. Ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing and improving over-all process synchronization.
  • Collaborate with sales, supply chain, logistics, procurement, finance and IT to ensure SAP processes are aligned across all operational functions.
  • Guide the training, configuration, customization, and management of SAP modules related to operations helping ensure uninterrupted functionality.
  • Communicate identified challenges/constraints with the IT team, working interactively to identify solutions, prioritize work, and plan/support implementation.
  • Research outside digital platforms to understand potential enterprise value
  • Partner with IT to develop Power BI dashboards that allow operations to quickly understand key metrics

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Operations Management, or other relevant discipline.
  • Strong expertise in SAP systems, a strategic approach to problem-solving, and excellent leadership skills are all essential to succeed in this role.
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP. Experience with the EWM module strongly preferred.
  • Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately track projects and create reports.
  • Requires excellent organizational and planning capabilities, with ability to multitask.
