Job description

Purpose of the Role
The Process Optimization Specialist, Projects will support process optimization initiatives with a focus on special projects across logistics operations. This role will assist in documenting processes, developing SOPs, and supporting execution of core operational activities to improve efficiency, standardization, and quality.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support special projects focused on improving process efficiency, standardization, and execution
  • Assist with the development and updates to standard operating procedures (SOPs) using established frameworks, document end-to-end processes and system interactions
  • Identify process gaps, defects, and improvement opportunities, and update documentation accordingly
  • Manage exception handling, including resolution of data gaps and carrier-related inquiries (L1 support)
  • Maintain and update rates to ensure accuracy and support post-auditor requests and urgent invoice verifications
  • Monitor and track end-to-end (E2E) process flows and support non-match invoice processing
  • Support development of training materials, data validation/reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to drive process improvements


Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field)
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or process improvement
  • Interest in process optimization, automation, or continuous improvement initiatives


Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to translate processes into clear, structured documentation
  • Analytical mindset with ability to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities

Pay: The pay range for this position is $71,400 to $107,200. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
