Job description

Summary
The Director of Process Optimization is responsible for translating operational improvements into sustainable, standardized practices across field operations. Collaborating closely with the Director of Operational Excellence, this role ensures that process improvements are effectively implemented, reinforced, and maintained in day-to-day operations. The Director of Process Optimization collaborates with the SOP Content Developer to develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) that solidify these enhancements, ensuring they are durable and adaptable. Additionally, this role provides ongoing support and follow-up with field operations teams to reinforce adherence to SOPs and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Process Implementation and Sustainability
  • Oversee the rollout and adoption of process improvements across field operations.
  • Partner with field teams to ensure new processes are understood, accessible, and executable within diverse operational environments.
  • Monitor and assess the ongoing application of improvements to identify and resolve any challenges in implementation.

Collaboration with Operational Excellence
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Operational Excellence to prioritize, plan, and transition improvement initiatives into sustainable practices.
  • Provide feedback on the operational feasibility of improvements and collaborate on adjustments where necessary.
  • Assist in goal attainment for the fields Objectives and Key Results.

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Development
  • Collaborate with the SOP Content Developer to create, update, and standardize SOPs that capture and institutionalize process improvements.
  • Ensure SOPs are clear, comprehensive, and aligned with operational goals and industry best practices.
  • Communicate SOPs effectively to field teams, ensuring accessibility and comprehension.

Field Operations Support and Compliance
  • Serve as the point of contact for field teams, providing guidance and support to achieve compliance with newly established SOPs.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with field operations to reinforce adherence to improvements and SOPs, offering additional training or resources as needed.
  • Gather feedback from field teams on SOP application to identify potential areas for further enhancement.

Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to assess the effectiveness and sustainability of implemented process improvements.
  • Utilize data and field feedback to continuously refine SOPs and improve process adherence.
  • Report on process optimization results, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for further improvement.

Salary: $140,000 - $185,000
