Job description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity to support K-8th grade students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist serving a supportive school environment near Columbus, OH. You'll collaborate closely with educators and families to help each child achieve greater independence and success in their academic journey. This part-time assignment offers a steady, consistent schedule with excellent resources and a manageable caseload.

Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
  • Experience working in a school-based or pediatric OT setting is preferred
  • Expertise in assessment, development, and implementation of student IEPs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to approximately 13 students
  • Participate in developing and executing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Document student progress and communicate regularly with staff and families
  • Adapt therapy activities to meet diverse student learning needs
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers regarding classroom accommodations and modifications
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district guidelines
