Amergis is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time school-based opportunity supporting elementary students. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working directly with students in an in-person educational setting.

Requirements

? Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of assignment
? CCC-SLP preferred (and may be required by contract/state)
? Compliance with professional standards of practice
? Current CPR certification if applicable
? TB screening/PPD/chest X-ray if applicable
? Current health certificate if required
? Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
? Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active  Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract. 
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
