About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst who is passionate about transforming data into meaningful insights that drive smarter decisions and business performance. In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design and deliver impactful analytics and business intelligence solutions that improve visibility into key metrics and support strategic decision-making across the organization.

You will lead the full lifecycle of business intelligence initiatives - from gathering requirements and prototyping solutions to developing dashboards, validating results, and supporting deployment. Leveraging modern data platforms and visualization tools, you will translate complex datasets into intuitive reporting and actionable insights that empower teams to better understand their data and make informed decisions.

This role works closely with business partners, data teams, and technology stakeholders to continuously improve how data is accessed, analyzed, and used across the organization.

Location: This position is located at our Dublin, OH campus with hybrid flexibility or may work remotely anywhere in the United States of America.

What you’ll do (Essential Responsibilities)

  • Champion data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the department by designing and promoting best practices. 
  • Organize and lead design, code & process review sessions. 
  • Focus and passion to deliver error-free analysis and reports.
  • Serve as SME and lead developer for key initiatives creating project plans with estimation and guiding the development team in best solution approach
  • Participate in business process improvement, quality control and other initiatives.  
  • Engage and partner with internal stakeholders and project managers to elicit and document functional and technical requirements; Provide recommendations where requirements aren’t clearly defined / known.
  • Prototype and iterate with internal stakeholders to help solidify requirements and expectations.
  • Utilize various approaches and technologies to gather and prepare data, including: query development (SQL Server, Snowflake) and using BI platforms like QuickSight, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, SSRS, etc.
  • Provide data analysis and design reports, dashboards and visualizations.
  • Perform rigorous unit testing and coordinate UAT where applicable to help ensure quality data products are delivered.
  • Partner with development operations to deploy business intelligence solutions.
  • Develop end user technical documentation, training materials and team cross-training.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring (Qualifications)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or business-related discipline (such as Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or Business Administration), or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Experience: 5+ years in employer benefits or related field focused in analytics/business intelligence delivery.
  • Proven track record as an individual contributor owning tools, workflows, and enablement processes with minimal oversight.
  • Extensive experience with business intelligence exploratory or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, ThoughtSpot).
  • Ability to organize, facilitate, and lead productive meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on broader business objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
