Business Intelligence Developer / Data Scientist
Location: Alpharetta, GA or Irving, TX (Local candidates only)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer / Data Scientist to join Verizon's Data & Analytics – Data Insights & Consumption Enablement (DICE) team. In this role, you will build advanced analytics solutions, develop interactive dashboards, create data pipelines, and generate business insights using modern BI and AI technologies.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong experience in SQL, Python, Looker, Qlik, BigQuery, and data analytics who enjoy solving complex business problems through data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop BI dashboards using Looker (LookML) and Qlik.
  • Build complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data from multiple data sources.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines, semantic layers, and reporting solutions.
  • Create actionable dashboards for business metrics including Customer Experience (CX), NPS, Revenue, Churn, Call Rate, and Customer Journey Analytics.
  • Perform journey analysis, KPI development, cohort segmentation, and automation.
  • Integrate data from multiple platforms to provide a comprehensive 360° business view.
  • Use Python and AI/ML techniques to automate reporting, generate predictive insights, and improve business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable analytics solutions.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Science.
  • Strong expertise in:
