About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about turning complex data into meaningful business insights? We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst II to join a high-performing analytics team supporting a valued client within the corporate travel industry. In this role, you will combine advanced Power BI development, SQL expertise, and modern AI tools to deliver impactful reporting solutions that help drive strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of business intelligence, data analytics, and AI-driven productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize advanced dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Build intuitive, scalable, and user-focused business intelligence solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Leverage Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and Claude Code to accelerate development workflows and improve productivity.
  • Create and refine prompts for AI tools to support analytics, reporting, data interpretation, and business insight generation.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business opportunities.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations and business-focused insights.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to support reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Work with relational databases to query, manipulate, and manage data efficiently.
  • Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to improve query performance and accelerate development cycles.
  • Partner directly with clients to understand business needs and deliver reporting solutions that add value.
  • Present insights, dashboards, and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Create AI-assisted data narratives, summaries, and reporting content where appropriate.
  • Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve reporting processes, workflows, and analytics capabilities.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
  • Experience designing and developing business intelligence dashboards and reports.
  • Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience analyzing complex datasets and translating findings into actionable insights.
  • Hands-on experience with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or Claude Code, or demonstrated ability to rapidly adopt new technologies.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering concepts and practical application within analytics or reporting workflows.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to present technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience within the corporate travel industry is preferred.
  • Reliable, high-speed internet connectivity required to support core job responsibilities, including but not limited to video conferencing, access to company systems, and secure handling of company data.
