Summary:

Join the fast-growing TechOps BI team at TransPerfect as a Business Intelligence Developer, supporting the design, development, and maintenance of modern business intelligence architectures and solutions. You will work with a suite of TechOps technology products, integrating real-time data from Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services as well as leveraging Snowflake cloud data warehouse environments. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver insightful analytics and reporting through leading industry tools (such as KNIME and Tableau), and ensure business stakeholders have access to timely and reliable data to drive strategic decision-making.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Manage and develop ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake and KNIME to capture current business, technical, and reporting requirements. Maintain data pipelines and workflows to support real-time updates and accurate replication between various databases and reporting environments. Construct robust processes for error reporting and notification through email and other alerts. (25%)
  • Create and deploy scalable analytical systems for end users, including interactive dashboards and reports built on Tableau and KNIME. Develop and automate production reports for daily/weekly/monthly statistics, and design flexible, reliable relational database models within SQL Server and Snowflake. (25%)
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to understand underlying business needs, applying data mining techniques to discover and unify data from multiple sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement data storage and reporting solutions for operational and financial audits, including creating new database schemas and automating the delivery of key analytics. (10%)
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and document data requirements, build unified data sources, and develop interactive dashboards in Tableau reflecting key metrics. Administer Tableau Server environments - including user access, permissions, and dashboard publishing and maintenance. Maintain and enhance published dashboards in alignment with evolving business requirements. (10%)
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting workflows throughout the organization, enhancing data-driven decision making. Write SQL queries for relational and multidimensional databases (SQL Server, Snowflake) to satisfy complex business needs. (10%)
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to ensure seamless integration and synchronization of data between systems, using Snowflake KNIME. Provide technical support for reporting tools and generate ad-hoc reports as needed via SQL queries; implement dashboard and application updates quickly to align with business and end-user needs. (10%)
  • Support global operations and production teams by developing scheduled and ad hoc reporting to facilitate monthly billing, project tracking, KPI measurement, and other analytics required by both internal and external stakeholders. (10%)
