Job Summary

Has primary responsibility to move glass, apples and supplies, load and unload trucks with finished products and supplies, dump apples, and provide accurate written verification of product and supplies shipped or received.

The plants operate 24 hours per day, seven days a week and run multiple shifts back-to-back.

Must be able to work various shifts as required by the Company. Examples of possible shifts include but are not limited to:

08:00 am to 04:00 pm 04:00 pm to Midnight Midnight to 08:00 am

Employees may be required to change shifts on a weekly basis and may be required to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Job Functions

• Assemble customer orders, ship finished product from plant or outside warehouses as directed.
• Ensure cases are properly glued, coded correctly, finished product being tagged and stacked correctly, and that product requiring strapping is done tightly enough to prevent shifting in transportation.
• Maintain facility in a clean and orderly condition.
• Verify that items and quantities are received or shipped in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete daily forklift safety and maintenance checklists.

Job Qualifications

• Have a good mechanical aptitude, good safety habits and mathematical accuracy.
• Accurately use bar coding and scanning systems.
• Successfully pass the written and hands-on driving test as administered by the company before operating the forklift.
• 1-2 years experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing/production environment.
• Must meet employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Be at least 18 years of age.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screen.

• Work is performed outdoors, production, manufacturing, and warehouse facilities.
