Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, dependable porter with strong customer service skills. In this position, you will interact with the public in and around Middletown Commons. The job of a porter is to clean facilities: sweep and mop, take out the trash, clean the restrooms, and ensure that all cleaning and sanitary materials remain in stock. You also maintain and repair equipment as needed.

Responsibilities:

Working with and around the public to keep Middletown Commons the premier shopping location for Fairmont and the surrounding areas.
Perform routine grounds and building checks to ensure cleanliness and curb appeal
Open availability (we are looking to fill the day shift 7:00 am-3:30 pm and the afternoon shift 1:30 pm-10:00 pm)

Qualifications:

Janitorial services skills
Low-level maintenance skills
Strong work ethic
Reliable transportation
Ability to walk, without issue, throughout the 8 hour shift
Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40+ pounds through the course of the shift
Be able to twist, turn, and bend
Great customer service and communication skills
Interpersonal skills
Will Train Proper Candidates
