Title: Paid CNA Training/Wellness Aide
Job Duties: The Wellness Aide will assist licensed staff to meet the physical and emotional needs of each client; maintain a clean, comfortable, safe environment and interact with all departments.
CNA Training: The Wellness Aide starts in the Program Department to become familiar with clients and facility. It will lead into the Nursing Assistant Training Program and assist the Nursing Department when the class begins. Participation in the NATP class is mandatory. The NATP class will train Wellness Aides to become a Certified Nursing Assistants. Certification is dependent upon the individual passing state board exams. The training is provided to the employee at no cost to them and pay will increase upon successful completion of training and certification.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma/GED.
- California Driver's License preferred
About the Campus: The Skilled Nursing program at Crestwood Wellness & Recovery Center in Redding is a system of care which incorporates the concepts of wellness and recovery. It promotes wellness across the spectrum of the human systems of physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs.
