Role overview

Are you passionate about making a difference? Are you an experienced finance professional with a keen eye for detail and a knack for tackling the complete finance function of an organisation? Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining financial stability? We are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join our team. In this remote position, you will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, implementing robust financial controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.


Remote (time zone between -4:00 and +4:00 GMT)

Key responsibilities

  • Independently executing and overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Implement and monitor financial controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Monitor budget performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and relevant legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular analyses to forecast and manage cash flow fluctuations and cash flow requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, being our Product, Growth and Impact teams to understand financial needs and drive financial processes.
  • Embrace the dynamic nature of a startup environment, providing leadership in financial matters.
  • Showcase adaptability and versatility in taking on challenges and contributing to the success of the company.

What we're looking for

  • A Bachelor's degree at a minimum in a relevant field of study.
  • Min 7 years experience in an accounting and reporting function.
  • Committed and detail oriented person.
  • Prior experience in a B2B SaaS business is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • A proactive mindset with strong organisational prowess.
  • A keen interest or background in the social impact sector would be a feather in your cap.
