As the Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee our day-to-day operations, including fleet management, customer service, logistics, and vendor relationships. You will work closely with executive team members to develop and execute strategic plans for growth and profitability.



COMPENSATION

This position has a competitive compensation package that is a combination of Base Salary and Bonus Incentive Plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all operational activities, including fleet management, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring customer feedback and addressing issues promptly.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans for growth and profitability.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO and executive leaders
  • Direct reports include the following for both the Fort Worth, TX & Fort Wayne, IN locations: Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Production, Rentals, Field Service Team, and External Facilities
Requirements:

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Proven track record of driving growth and profitability in a complex business environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in the truck rental or transportation industry
  • MBA
