HR Generalist

Summary

Administration of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, maintenance of employee records, payroll administration, benefits, employee relations, company policies and development of employees.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for keeping track of employee records (personal, medical, training, attendance, payroll)
• Employee Onboarding
• Responsible for benefit management including open enrollment
• Process timecards in GSS and ADP time and attendance
• Assist employees with HR related questions
• Administer new employee orientation
• Provide consistent disciplinary action when required
• Assist employee with concerns (safety, benefits, vacation, harassment issues)
• Recruiting/Onboarding
• Responsible for training recordkeeping
• Responsible for claims management including STD/FMLA/WC and tracking
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Experience with ADP (Comprehensive Services) a plus
• Experience with an ERP system – Global Shop Solutions a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Products
