Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a progressive, hands-on recruiter with deep experience hiring technical and skilled-trade professionals. The successful candidate will be comfortable partnering with operational leaders, sourcing difficult-to-find talent, and driving recruiting strategies that support rapid organizational growth in a manufacturing and field service environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions across manufacturing, field service, operations, and technical functions.
Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, define qualifications, and create effective sourcing plans.
Build pipelines of skilled trades, technicians, supervisors, and project personnel through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, trade schools, and industry partnerships.
Screen and evaluate candidates through interviews, assessments, and qualification reviews.
Manage offers, negotiations, background checks, drug screens, onboarding, and pre-employment processes.
Develop and maintain relationships with staffing partners and workforce development organizations.
Analyze recruiting metrics and labor market trends to improve hiring effectiveness.
Support employee relations, compliance, onboarding, engagement, and other HR initiatives.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on talent acquisition and workforce planning.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in manufacturing, construction, field service, industrial, engineering, skilled trades, or related technical environments.
Demonstrated success recruiting for hard-to-fill technical and operational roles.
Strong sourcing experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and passive candidate outreach.
Experience partnering directly with operational and business leaders.
Working knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Ability to work onsite in Salt Lake City, UT.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting within the data center, construction, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, or field service industries.
Experience supporting high-growth or multi-site organizations.
Knowledge of employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies.
SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification.
Bilingual English/Spanish.
