About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter | HR Generalist to support hiring and HR operations for a growing organization in College Station, TX.

This is a newly opened role due to continued business needs and team growth. The position will focus primarily on internal recruitment, sourcing, screening, hiring manager partnership, and candidate pipeline development. In addition, part of the role will include HR Generalist support for one of the organization's business divisions.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys recruiting, relationship-building, process improvement, and working closely with HR leadership and hiring teams in an onsite environment.

What You'll Do
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting activity for assigned openings across the organization
  • Source, screen, interview, and recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, team needs, and ideal candidate profiles
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs
  • Coordinate interview schedules and support a smooth candidate experience throughout the process
  • Maintain relationships with prospective candidates for future opportunities
  • Support online applicant review and applicant tracking processes as needed
  • Use social media, networking, job boards, referrals, campus partnerships, and other sourcing strategies to identify talent
  • Partner with local colleges and universities to support student recruiting and early talent pipelines
  • Organize and attend job fairs, campus events, and networking events
  • Develop creative recruiting approaches for difficult-to-fill roles
  • Work with approved staffing and placement agencies for temporary and direct-hire needs
  • Assist with evaluating and coordinating additional agency partnerships when needed
  • Collect and review market data related to compensation, candidate availability, and hiring trends
  • Conduct reference checks and verify candidate credentials
  • Support offer discussions and candidate communication in alignment with company guidelines
  • Assist with HR Generalist responsibilities for an assigned division of the organization
  • Ensure recruiting practices remain compliant with EEO, ADA, and applicable employment laws
  • Support HR leadership with additional projects, reporting, and related duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
  • 4 or more years of recruiting experience, including internal recruiting, agency recruiting, or a combination of both
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and senior leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple openings, priorities, candidates, and timelines
  • Strong sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills
  • Experience working with external staffing or placement agencies preferred
  • Working knowledge of EEO, ADA, and related employment laws
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of initiative, organization, professionalism, and follow-through
  • Comfortable working onsite and partnering closely with an HR team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related recruiting or HR systems
  • Interest in supporting broader HR Generalist responsibilities in addition to recruiting
